6-8W LED ≈ 60W incandescent (650-800 lumens)
7.5-10W LED ≈ 75-100W incandescent (900-1200 lumens)

What is the lifespan of Dulora bulbs?

Dulora bulbs are designed for over 25,000 hours of use. If you use your light for an average of 3 hours per day, your LED bulb could last over 22 years. This exceptional longevity significantly reduces the frequency of replacements compared to traditional incandescent bulbs, which typically last only 1,000-2,000 hours. Note that all LED bulbs' light output gradually decreases over time, a phenomenon known as lumen depreciation.

Are Dulora bulbs dimmable?

Yes, most Dulora bulbs are dimmable, allowing you to create the perfect ambiance for any occasion. Look for the "dimmable" specification on the product page. For optimal performance, we recommend using LED-compatible dimmers. Some older dimmer switches may cause flickering or buzzing with LED bulbs. If you experience any issues, please contact our customer support team for assistance.

What is colour temperature and which should I choose?

Colour temperature refers to the warmth or coolness of light, measured in Kelvins (K):

Ultra & Extra Warm (2000K-2200K): This colour range is warm and closer to a room lit by candles. It’s a very calm type of light, but it may make tasks like reading harder.
This calming light gives off a warm glow, similar to candlelight. However, because it is such a soft light, it may not be suitable for activities that require focus, such as reading.
Warm White (2700K-3000K): This colour creates a cozy, inviting atmosphere similar to traditional incandescent bulbs. It is ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, and dining areas.
Natural White (3500K-4000K): Provides a balanced, neutral light perfect for kitchens, offices, and workspaces.
Cool White (5000K-6500K): This colour delivers a crisp, energising light similar to daylight. It is best for task lighting, garages, and areas requiring detailed visibility.

After looking over your order, we have to let you know that the bulb you purchased is designed for a 12 Volt connection, whereas the plug-in pendant requires a standard 240 Volt connection. We like the plug-in pendant but the globe wasn't right

We like the plug-in pendant but the globe wasn't right. We wish the website and/or the box the globe came in had a polite warning that this globe is not for 240 volt use. I ordered the wrong globe but even though my husband is an electrician, he didn't pick it up either; and usually a globe designed for lower voltage use won't fit into a 240 volt socket. So we ruined the globe. $28 down the drain. Such a pity that could be alleviated for future consumers with a few friendly warnings

Yes, a lampshade can be attached to the Black Plug-In Pendant for Lampshade. This option can be selected in the dropdown menu.

Is this designed only to hold globes, or can shades also easily attach to it?

The plug-in pendant is a bare bulb pendant, and it's not designed to be used with a light shade.
