The FlexBeam MR16 delivers 460 lumens from just 7 watts, replacing a traditional 50W halogen with a twist-adjustable lens system that lets you set the beam to 24°, 36°, or 55° without changing the fitting. Ultra-high colour accuracy ensures materials and finishes are rendered naturally, with skin tones that look warm and flattering at every angle and brightness level. Available in 2700K warm white and 3000K soft white. Backed by a 3-year warranty.
The Adjustable Beam
Traditional MR16 spotlights lock you into a single beam angle at the point of purchase. If the room changes or the brief evolves, you replace the globe. The FlexBeam eliminates that constraint with a manual twist-lens ring built into the face of the spotlight. Turn it to 24° for a tight, focused accent on artwork or a feature wall. Set it to 36° for general-purpose spotlighting. Open it to 55° for a broader wash across a kitchen bench or hallway. The adjustment takes seconds, can be done by hand once the globe has cooled, and holds its position until you choose to change it again.
This flexibility matters most during fit-out and commissioning, when the difference between a 24° and a 55° beam can completely change how a space feels. Rather than ordering multiple SKUs or returning stock, electricians and designers can fine-tune every downlight on site to match the final layout. Pair it with a compatible trailing-edge dimmer and flicker-free performance holds across all three beam positions, delivering smooth, stable output from full brightness down to low levels with no buzzing or visible flicker.
